Andy Leitner Signature Maple

This maple-wood stick gives a bright, open sound on the snare. The even tapering to the spherical head in the last third of the stick results in a relatively flat "shoulder", making the stick ideal for playing in the traditional slanting position. Light, with a good grip and relatively high volume, this stick gives the maximum sound on the cymbal.
It allows a wide range of use, and is ideally suited to the subtle demands of ensemble performance.

Andy Leitner

Andy Leitner, from Schliersee in Upper Bavaria, has been playing in wind bands since his childhood.

In his day job, he is an administrative employee, so all the more impressive is his participation in numerous ensembles, including the Obermüller Musikanten (in the Hofbräuhaus beer hall in Munich), the Munich Oktoberfest Musikanten (in the "Tradition" marquee on the "Oidn Wiesn"), and the Blechbriada and Schabernack wind bands.

Since 2018, a fan club has grown around Andy Leitner, and some specialist magazines describe him as a "cult percussionist".
