VIENNESE FLANNEL MALLET (EF100 series)
The Viennese flannel mallet is a special feature of the Viennese tradition of timpani sound.
The fabric and stick design of the EF100 series is based on those of historical mallets from the collections of Erwin Falk's colleagues in the Philharmonic.
The special shear-cut of the loose-weave loden cloth gives this traditional mallet its distinctive appearance and tone.
